Last week, PPS joined industry colleagues in Santa Clara at ESA’s Annual Conference to discuss “Combining Energy Storage and Island Grids.” During the panel, PPS focused on the success of our microgrid system at Alcatraz Island, as a prime example of the benefits and challenges of an Island Grid. Following this event, Executive Vice President, Darren Hammell traveled to San Francisco for Joint Forces for Solar’s “10th PV Briefing and Networking Forum,” where he provided expertise and knowledge to support ‘Requirements for the Acceptance of the Storage Technology and Development of Sustainable Storage Market.’
