What We Do
We develop power converters through the complete cycle; from application
studies, simulation and modeling, to design, prototyping, full-power testing,
design for manufacturability, and production. Our converters leverage our
advanced AC-link and M-link technologies, as well as our commercial products,
components, and manufacturing capabilities.
Areas of Expertise
Variable Frequency Motor Drives
- Low
EMI, electrical and physical mil-specs (901D, 1399, 401) advanced motor
controls
Linear Induction Motor Drives -
Advanced
controls for precise speed and position regulation
Active Transformers - Multi-megawatt,
compact, lightweight xformers for active voltage regulation, power factor
correction
DC Transformers - High frequency,
compact, 50 to 250,000 Watts, with interchangeable voltage outputs

Methodology
Emphasis is placed on software modeling and simulations down to small
details, to generate accurate and precise designs and controls, using our
proprietary AC-link v3.0 Modeling and Simulation program to model
electrical circuits and systems including PM, induction, and linear motors
and generators, pulsed energy loads and sources, and shipboard distribution
systems.
